UK Businesses Can Now Accept American Express Payments via Revolut

Revolut, a prominent player in the fintech sector, has unveiled a notable advancement in its payment processing services tailored for British enterprises. The firm now facilitates the acceptance of American Express cards, granting businesses access to a distinguished clientele known for their elevated spending capacity. This strategic initiative aligns with Revolut’s mission to furnish cutting-edge and holistic financial solutions. By integrating American Express into its payment repertoire, Revolut aims to bolster the transaction capabilities of UK businesses while concurrently augmenting the American Express footprint within the region. Initially, this newly introduced American Express payment functionality will be accessible for digital commerce transactions via Revolut’s payment interface, Payment Links, and Tap to Pay on iPhone.

The rollout for in-person transactions is slated for later in the year, further expanding the versatility available to merchants. With this enhancement, Revolut Business now supports seven distinct payment avenues at checkout.
